Baronial Officers
Seneschal: Lord Eldrick von Muth
The Seneschal is the business head of the local branch and serves as the legal representative. (Closest modern equivalent is the president.)
Minister of Arts and Sciences: Her Ladyship Ciosa Leonara Fioravanti
The Minister of Arts and Sciences coordinates activities associated with the different arts and sciences existing pre-17th century. These may be during events or they may be other gatherings for projects or classes.
Master of Stables: Lord Oswald of Wastekeep
The Master of Stables is the authority for heavy fighting in the Barony. They are also the Marshal in Charge for all other martial activities.
Mistress of the Lists: Her Ladyship Ciosa Leonara Fioravanti
The Lists involve who is in what tournament, who is their opponent, who is eligible for said tournament, etc. The Mistress of the Lists is the person that coordinates all of that information during the event and reports the results.
Chatelaine: Her Ladyship Catriona Inghean Tomias
If you are new to the group or the SCA as a whole, this is the person you want to talk to. The Chatelaine welcomes those new to the area and the SCA. Provides information on the basics of the local group and the SCA in general.
Exchequer: Lady Sadhbh Dhubh
The Exchequer functions as the treasurer of the group. This person is responsible for managing the Barony’s finances.
Chamberlain: Her Ladyship Kaitlin of Wastekeep
The Chamberlain manages the Baronial equipment such as tents, banners, or other equipment needed to run various events.
Chronicler: Mistress Catriona of Rathcroghan
The Chronicler acts as the secretary for the Barony. This person takes meeting minutes and compiles the Baronial newsletter.
Mistress of the Grete Boke: Mistress Catriona of Rathcroghan
The Mistress of the Grete Boke keeps a running archive of the Barony’s history.
Basilisk Herald: Lord Cuthbert Weaver
The Herald has several parts to their office. They act as the announcer during court, make announcements during events, help people select period names, help people create their device (a unique symbol used to identify someone or something, such as the symbols next to each office here), and help submit those names and devices to be officially registered.
Webminister: Sindri kennari (inn hárfagri)
The Webminister is the person responsible for the Baronial website and for the (non-social media) online content of the Barony.
Social Media Deputy: Lord Eldrick von Muth
The Social Media Deputy coordinates social media information and platforms for the Barony.
Scribe: Lady Derelei Devanensis
The Baronial Scribe is in charge of the gorgeous scrolls that are given out with awards in court.
